Jerome Silberman popularly known as Gene Wilder was born on June 11, 1933, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, United States.
Throughout his career, this gentleman was represented as an actor, comedian, writer, and filmmaker.

Gene was first married to Mary Mercier on July 22, 1960, while they were studying at the HB Studio in New York. The couple didn’t have a chance to live together and were apart for a long period of time.
Eventually, the couple got separated and divorced in 1965. Likewise, after a few months of divorce, he began dating Mary Joan Schutz who had a daughter, Katharine from a previous marriage.
Gene and Mary got married on October 27, 1967, and Gene adopted Katharine as their child.
However, after seven years, the couple were divorced as Katharine suspected Gene was having an affair with Madeline Kahn, a co-star from Young Frankenstein.
Few years later, Gene Wilder dated actress, Gilda Radner as they met on Saturday Night Live on August 13, 1981. However, Gilda was married to a guitarist, G.E. Smith.
Although Radner was married, Wilder and she became good friends. As the friendship between Radner and Wilder grew, Radner divorced Smith in 1982 and moved in with Wilder.
The couple eventually got married on September 14, 1984, in the south of France.
The couple were about to become parents, but unfortunately, Radner had miscarriages. Sadly, after several treatments and diagnoses, doctors found that Radner had ovarian cancer which led to her death on May 20, 1989.
After Radner, Wilder met Karen Webb with whom he married on September 8, 1991. The couple remained married until Wilder’s death on August 29, 2016.
Surprisingly, with all the marriage, Gene never had been a father to his biological child. However, adopting Katharine from his second marriage to Mary Joan Schutz extended his family making him a grandfather.
Is Jeremy Allen White Gene Wilder Grandson?
With very little information regarding Gene Wilder grandson, several sources point out to Jeremy Allen White as his grandson.
Fans of Wilder also believe that Jeremy Allen White is the younger version of Gene Wilder.
Also, with the face alike, people spread rumors that he might be Wilder’s grandson.
However, without concrete proof, the rumor would only remain the rumor unless any proof comes ahead.
Well, Jeremy’s parents are known to be Richard White and Eloise Zeigler which even led the rumor to be a false alarm.
Therefore, Jeremy Allen White is not the grandson of Gene Wilder.
