An alleged rape case was filed against Sajjan Jindal on February 16, 2023, which occurred on January 24, 2022, according to the complainant.
She also mentioned that Jindal forcefully kissed her prior to January 24, 2022. Well, on the 5th of December 2023, the woman filed a petition in the Bombay High Court that the police did not act on her case.
With that, on the 12th of December, BKC police informed the woman that the action would be taken. The next day, an FIR was lodged and the case was registered under IPC sections 376 (rape), 354 (assault or criminal force to woman with intent to outrage her modesty), and 506 (criminal intimidation).
Regarding Sajjan Jindal’s response to the case, he said that he would provide full cooperation throughout the investigation.
According to the statement by the woman, she mentioned that “on January 24, 2022, Jindal held her hand and pulled her inside the bathroom of his office in BKC and sexually assaulted her.”
Her late response and action was her fear that a big businessman like Sajjan Jindal would harm her and her family.
After she complained to the police, Jindal’s team approached her and instructed her to withdraw the complaint.
